Murdeira Village, Murdeira

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff is mostly friendly, but I faced several issues during my stay that impacted my overall enjoyment. The facilities were not as expected for a four-star hotel, and dining options were quite limited at times. Overall, while there are some positives, it's hard to look past the negatives.

Our stay at Murdeira Village was definitely a great value for the money. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the saltwater pool was a fantastic spot to relax. Although the food was simple, it was fresh, and we enjoyed the meal options, especially the barbecue nights. One downside was the lack of hot water during showers, which was frustrating at times. Overall, it was a peaceful getaway that exceeded our expectations.

The resort offers clean and comfortable rooms with a nice touch for special occasions, like champagne delivered to our room. However, the food temperature was disappointing, and the service lacked friendliness, especially from some staff members. The pools were cold, and the beach was rocky, which might not be ideal for everyone. Overall, a quiet place to relax, but it's wiser to stay at a more central location if you seek more activities.

My stay at the resort had its ups and downs. The highlight was definitely the lovely pool area and the shuttle service to Santa Maria. However, our experience was marred by multiple issues such as malfunctioning utilities in the rooms and disappointing service at the reception, which made it hard to recommend this place.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet which added to the overall positive experience. However, the breakfast options felt repetitive, and I think they could use a bit more variety.
